Truly, QuadGen’s accession to the MoU is in line with the IPOPHIL’s advocacy and policy to diversify and expand the coverage of the said international commercial treaty.

The importation per se of pharmaceutical products not registered with the Philippines’ Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is also defined as “counterfeit drug/medicine” and is a violation of Republic Act 8203 or the Special Law of Counterfeit Drugs, these grey market products could also be counterfeits in violation of the IP Code of 1997.

Deo Vincent C. Encinares was born in Baliwag, Bulacan on May 17, 1978. He is the eldest among three siblings. His biggest influence in life is his father, who taught him to be responsible person not just to his family but to his business as well.

Spending long hours of stenuous work as a medical representative back then sparked his passion for the pharmaceutical industry. With his vast professional experience and the need for business solutions, he ventured into pharmaceutical distribution. Thus the inception of Quadgen Pharmaceutical.

In January 2014, the company started its humble beginning anchored on four core values: love, faith, integrity, and compassion. Founded on family, Quadgen treats its employees based on these four core values, which exude to its target market-the less privileged consumers.

Having experienced hardships in accessing quality and affordable medicines when his father got sick, he made a vow to himself and others not to be in the same situation again of choosing to buy expensive medicines over putting food on the table. As a result, he made quality medicines accessible, affordable, and sustainable, and in effect, allowing patients to finish their treatments on time without to much worry.
