Montelukast Sodium is a selective and orally active leukotriene receptor antagonist that inhibits the cysteinyl leukotriene CysLT1 receptor.
Levocetirizine HCL, is an orally active H1-receptor antagonist.

FORMULATION:
Each vial contains:
Cefuroxime (as Sodium), USP……………………………………………..750 mg
DOSAGE:
The usual adult dose of 750mg is given twice daily when the creatinine clearance is between 10 ml and 20 ml / minute and once daily when it is below 10ml/minute.
By injection the usual dose is 750mg of Cefuroxime every 8 hours but more in severe infection, 1.5 g may be given I.V every 6-8 hours.
Infants and children can be given 30 to 60mg/kg daily, increased to 100mg/kg may be given similar total daily doses but administered in 2 to 3 divided doses.
For meningitis, doses of 3g every 8 hours. infants and children are given 200 to 400mg/kg daily I.V in 3 to 4 divided doses, this may be decrease to 100mg/kg daily after 3 days neonates, a dose of 100mg/kg daily decreased to 50mg/kg daily when indicated has been recommended.
For gonorrhea, a single dose of 1.5g I.M. divided between 2 injection sites has been suggested. A single 1.0g oral dose has been given up in uncomplicated gonorrhea.
For a surgical infection prophylaxis, the usual dose is 1.5g of Cefuroxime I.V prior to the procedure followed by 750mg I.V or I.M every 8 hours up to 24 to 48 hours
RECONSTITUTION:
IM-Add 3 ml water for injection and shake gently.
IV-Add 8 ml water for injection and shake gently.
The solution must be used within 1 hour after reconstitution. Discord any remaining portion.
INDICATIONS:
Cefuroxime is indicated for the treatment of patients with infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated organisms in the following diseases: Lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and skin structure infections, Septicemia, Meningitis, Gonorrhea, Bone and joint infections.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Cefuroxime is contraindicated in patients with known allergy to the cephalosporin group of antibiotics.
